Marvel Rivals Leaked Patch Notes for Mid-Season Update 2025
The leaks come courtesy of X0X_LEAK, a well-known X (formerly Twitter) account dedicated to Marvel Rivals datamines. They claim that the 2025 mid-season update is set to go live on February 21, 2025, and have shared a full breakdown of the adjustments coming to the game.

Vanguards
- Venom: Frenzied Arrival now applies inwards knockback at a 75° angle (was vertical); Ultimate cost reduced from 2800 to 2500.
- Captain America: Absolute Will can now be used for defense while jumping; Vibranium Energy Saw projectile speed increased from 60m/s to 80m/s, and ejection speed after a hit increased from 100m/s to 150m/s.
- Thor: Removed cooldown after Rune Awakening duration ends.
- Groot: Wall placement range increased from 15m to 18m.
- Magneto: Primary attack damage increased from 35 to 40; Curtain energy cost increased from 50 to 65; duration reduced from 2s to 1.5s.
- Doctor Strange: Base HP lowered from 650 to 600.
Duelists
- Iron Fist:
- Harmony Recovery bonus HP increased from 50 to 150 (decays at 25/s).
- Dragon’s Defense HP block increased from 150 to 200.
- Base HP increased from 250 to 300.
- Jeet Kune Do’s attack damage slightly reduced.
- Sun Punch cooldown increased from 1s to 1.5s; damage lowered from 19 to 10 per hit.
- Mr. Fantastic: Flexible Elongation spell field increased from 2.5m to 5m; now knocks enemies outwards upon landing. Charge increased from 8s to 10s.
- Iron Man: Unibeam damage increased from 120/s to 140/s; Armor Overdrive Unibeam boosted from 180/s to 190/s.
- Hawkeye:
- Base HP increased from 250 to 275.
- Explosive Arrow damage reduced, but Spell Field damage increased.
- Crescent Slash cooldown reduced from 15s to 12s.
- Ultimate bow charge speed increased.
- Storm:
- Wind Blade damage at 30m reduced from 70% to 60%.
- Aura self-boost reduced from 16% to 12%, but team boost increased from 8% to 10%.
- Goddess Boost (Thunder) self-damage boost reduced from 30% to 25%.

- Hela: Soul Drainer damage falloff at 30m increased from 70% to 80% (unconfirmed).
Strategists
- Adam Warlock:
- Soul Bond healing increased from 10/s to 15/s.
- Primary Fire damage increased from 55 to 60; falloff at 40m adjusted.
- Cloak & Dagger:
- Ultimate cost raised from 3400 to 4000.
- Dash Lanes/Fog healing duration reduced from 10s to 8s.
- Pause between dashes reduced from 1s to 0.67s.
- Luna Snow: Ultimate cost increased from 4000 to 4500.
- Loki: Ultimate cost increased from 3400 to 4000; ammo increased from 10 to 12.
- Mantis: Ultimate bonus HP reduced from 100 to 75.
- Invisible Woman: Ultimate cost raised from 4000 to 4300.
Team-Up Ability Changes
- Gamma: Unibeam damage nerfed; Hulk HP from anchoring reduced from 150 to 100.
- Psionic Disc (Rewind): Teleport time reduced from 5s to 3s; bonus HP conversion increased from 0.5 to 0.8.
- Full Moon: New 25/s healing effect (unconfirmed).
- Symbiote Bond: Skill duration cut from 4s to 1s; 50% damage reduction removed; now grants complete invincibility.
- Frozen Chi: Healing increased from 50 to 75; enemy slow effect raised from 20% to 30%.
